Smarter Working Centre Network Update

18 Jun 10
The eHampshire Partnership and Hampshire County Council is delighted to welcome the newly formed Hampshire Chamber as the latest Smarter Working Centre Network partner.
The Chamber joins existing partners Business Link, Enterprise First and Job centre Plus in this new initiative designed to assist fledgling and smaller business operate affordably from internet connected premises on a pay as you use rather than a traditional lease or contract basis.
Lyndhurst (11th June and Portsmouth (9th July) are the latest centres to join the county-wide Smarter Working Centre Network. Other centres are operational in Basingstoke (Worting House), Fareham (Fareham Enterprise Centre), Fordingbridge (Glasshouse Studios) Gosport (Sanderson Centre), Havant (Studio Seven) and Aldershot (Wellington Street).
Each centre offers entrepreneurs, business start-ups, home-based businesses and commuters low-cost allocated office and meeting space and the opportunity to work locally and therefore avoid the stress and cost of the peak-time journey to work. Especially created FREE to use, on-line search folders have also been set-up for budding entrepreneurs and recently redundant professionals and executives.
The shared, allocated work space model helps ensure Smarter Working Centre costs are kept low. Depending upon the membership package chosen, work-space can work out at as little as £1.50 per hour.
Hampshire Chamber members are currently able to claim a 10% reduction off the SWC Network tariffs and prospective Hampshire Chamber members can additionally save the normal £25 joining fee.
