Peter is Senior Partner of Hampshire based regional law firm, Paris Smith LLP, with offices in Southampton and Winchester. The firm has over 45 partners and a total staff in excess of 250. He chairs the firm's strategy Board. Aaron has over 20 years experience in Teaching, Training and management within the college and private sector. He has been in a leadership role for more than 10-years . In his current role as Assistant Principal for HSDC he is responsible for employer engagement to ensure the college is delivering an up to date curriculum fit for purpose for the employers within the region. He runs a large apprenticeship provision and is also responsible for delivering adult training/ education. Aaron is also Chair of Hampshire Chamber of Commerce 'Portsmouth & District Business Strategy Group'. Andrew is Principal and Chief Executive of Fareham College, an Ofsted Outstanding General Further Education College which excels in technical education and apprenticeship training. As Principal and Chief Executive, Andrew assists and advises the Corporation in relation to its determination of the College’s educational character and mission. He has overall responsibility for, and oversight of, all academic and curriculum matters concerning the college. Andrew oversees and directs appropriate use of funds and undertakes the role of Chief Accounting Officer. Andrew also works as an Ofsted Inspector and is Non-Executive Director of Maritime UK (Solent). Joe is the Finance Director of Hambledon, England’s oldest commercial vineyard, based in Hampshire. Previous to this Joe spent 7 years as CFO of Tailor Made Technologies, one of the largest IT and Communications providers in the South and before that, CFO of 3Si, a private equity backed group of marine safety businesses. Joe started his career with Barclays in London before moving to Chichester to re-train as an accountant. After qualification Joe spent 8 years in Corporate Finance advising business owners and investors on M&A (both buy side and sell side) before transitioning to becoming a full time CFO. Joe is the Chair of the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce ‘Finance Committee’ and works closely with Ross McNally and Peter Taylor on all financial matters. Barry has a proven track record with over 30 years experience in providing quality cost effective customer services. Barry is the North Hampshire representative and chairs the Basingstoke Business Strategy Group of Hampshire Chamber of Commerce. He is a Governor for BCoT and Vice Patron for St.Michaels Hospice North Hants. Richard Thompson is Chief Executive Officer of media company Black Ox which operates The Business Magazine, Business & Innovation magazine and video production company Sightline. Richard has worked in the media industry for more than 20 years working in senior commercial roles at Guardian News & Media, JPI Media and has also advised other media and technology companies on commercial, partnership and events strategy through his consultancy Out of the Park. Donna Jones was elected as Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight on 6 May 2021, achieving 312,993 of the votes cast across the two counties, and officially took up post on Thursday 13 May after taking the Oath of Office. Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary is one of the largest police force areas in the country. Donna was the youngest member of the judiciary in England and Wales when she was appointed to the South East Hampshire (Magistrates) Bench in October 2005. She served as a bench chair for 16 years until she was elected as Police and Crime Commissioner. From 2014-2018 Donna was the first woman to be elected the Leader of Portsmouth City council in Hampshire, presiding over a £780million budget. During this time she received national recognition for the commercial approach she brought to the running of the city council, generating millions of pounds of income each year. As well as being the PCC for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Donna previously led on the national Victims and Serious Organised Crime portfolios for the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners, before taking up the role of the Chair in July 2023. Donna is Hampshire born and bred. Her professional background is in banking. She is married with two sons. Alpa Shingadia is a dynamic Non-Executive Director and is currently the Chair for Rushmoor and Hart Business Strategy Group for the Chamber. Coming from a varied background in the tech industry. When the dotcom bubble burst in the early 2000s, she took a bold leap, launching a marketing agency with just a phone and a Yellow Pages. She went on to exit her business in 2013. Since then, Alpa has been a sought-after NED for various companies, recognising that real growth entails more than just boosting sales. She understands that a business needs to focus on all internal aspects, such as strategy, finance, HR/people development, infrastructure, corporate governance, IT, sales, and marketing. By homing in on these essential areas, Alpa empowers organisations to achieve sustained success, breakthrough to the next level of turnover, and achieve higher profits. When she's not driving business growth, Alpa can be found indulging her passion for cooking and burying herself in a good book. With over 20 years of experience in various hospitality and customer service sectors, Zulfiya has honed a deep understanding of client needs and operational excellence. Currently a Regional General Manager at a FTSE250 Real Estate company, she plays a pivotal role in supporting SMEs and managing commercial properties. She focuses on strategy, driving business growth and operational efficiency. Throughout her career, Zulfiya has demonstrated exceptional results, consistently guiding teams to achieve positive results and fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. In addition to professional achievements, she has been previously involved with the Scouts in capacity of Cubs Assistant Leader, working with young minds and local communities. Outside of work, Zulfiya enjoys cooking, gardening, various sport activities and travelling, which provide a perfect balance to her professional life.
