Tech+Tour is an interactive career roadshow launched by South Hampshire College Group with local colleges: Brockenhurst College, HTP Apprenticeship College, City of Portsmouth College, The Isle of Wight College and Hampshire Chamber of Commerce. This initiative addressing regional skills gaps is more than a roadshow – it’s a movement to bridge skills gaps and build a future-ready workforce. Via hands on activities and access to discourse with employers, it showcases sectors including maritime, healthcare, engineering, and creative arts using tech like AI, VR, robotics, and 3D printing.
Tech+Tour has already made a significant impact. Since 2023, it has visited 160+ events and engaged over 25,000 people across the Solent. 64% of 2025 attendees said it made them consider careers in featured industries.
