Following lunch, Miles, a world class elite coach, facilitator, broadcaster, owner and a founder member of People Academy, a global business based in the UK, will talk to us today about what he is seeing around the world with the ever changing and challenging face of Leadership. He will share some of the challenges other organisations are facing right now and discuss through case studies, how both business and sport are working hard to adapt to these challenges.
Miles has worked in over 35 countries in the last 15 years, across diverse industries and is a specialist in the field of people communication, behavior in the workplace and the ever changing world of leadership. The portfolio of corporate clients includes working with smaller niche organisations like Beulieu Motor Museum and Local Councils.
Amongst many others, Miles has been working with the coaches from the USA women’s soccer team who have recently taken the world by storm winning the FIFA world cup. He is also working with USA Cycling, Volleyball, Figure Skating, Snowboarding, Fencing, Swimming, Rugby Sevens and Hockey to name a few. Miles also worked with the Team Head Coaches for USA Winter Sports in the build up to the Winter Olympics in South Korea with numerous medal successes. In 2017, he and his business, The People Academy, secured the contract to design and run the Team USA National Elite Coaching Education and Leadership programme and associated people development initiatives up to the Tokyo games in 2010.
Today, Miles spends time as a 121 mentor to Executives or an Executive Consultant working with senior teams helping teams manage and deliver people change and transformation. He has a passion for High Performing Teams and has recently helped put in best practice that helped deliver Bronze and then Gold for the GB Ladies Hockey team in London and Rio games respectively.
