Creating a dynamic diagnostic model to verify and validate your international ambitions.

A 6 week interactive programme of guided learning.

For a business to succeed it needs customers, for it to be sustainable it needs new customers while at the same time retaining those it already has.  It is a simple statement but given that we are living and working in such an uncertain trading environment companies need to take stock and look to (or extend) new overseas markets to achieve success.  Approaching or maintaining these markets comes with a set of challenges that for many can appear daunting especially when there is so much focus on coming out of lockdown and how we recover from the Pandemic.  There is the challenge of retaining or finding new customers in the EU plus the seemingly ever-present Trade War between the US and China that has the potential to affect supply chains. We are in uncharted territory and so much is unknown. We need to be agile, be able to pivot and at the same time, leverage opportunity.

Developing an architectural model will allow Leaders to manage in times of volatile uncertainty. The one-page Visual Management tool will allow organisations to avoid problems by strengthening those areas that are not as strong as may have been thought and checking that global ambitions are validated and achievable.

This series of 6 workshops will start on Thursday 30th September and will continue weekly. 7th, 14th ,21st, 28th October and 4th November. These will be delivered virtually.

The price for these workshops are:

Members – £650 + VAT

Non-Members – £750 + VAT

This course will be facilitated by International Trade Matters and Managing Director Linda Middleton-Jones. ITM will provide certificates of completion.

Linda Middleton-Jones has over 25 years’ experience in international commerce across manufacturing, nuclear and aviation sectors. She is an accomplished professional with extensive overseas know-how. A graduate of the University of Plymouth and Universidad de Barcelona (LLB{Hons}) she is the founder and Managing Director at International Trade Matters Ltd. Currently Linda is the Chairman of the Academic Board at the Institute of Export and a Director at Devon Chamber of Commerce.

Linda has recently completed a course at MIT Sloan which has informed the development of a Sensemaking diagnostic tool that will allow companies to assess their chances of success in overseas markets.
