Please find below a comprehensive list of current consultations in which views of Chamber members are sought. The Chamber's Area Committees based in Andover, Basingstoke, Farnborough and Fleet, Portsmouth, Southampton and Winchester, as well as the Chamber's Planning and Transport and Tax Finance Legal Committees are all actively engaged and contribute to the vast majority of the Chamber's responses.

Call for evidence - dealing with dismissal and compensated no fault dismissal for micro businesses
The Government is conducting a long awaited review of the current employment framework, including looking at any areas of law and regulation that apply to employers that can dissuade responsible employers from hiring new staff. It’s an area for businesses continue to be controversial and challenging. The Department of Business Innovation and Skills has published a full consultation document and has set the deadline for comments as 8 June 2012. HAMPSHIRE ASIAN NETWORK - Consultation of Businesses
A survey of all Asian businesses associated with Hampshire Chamber of Commerce's 'Hampshire Asian Network (HAN)' is underway.
The survey, which is being managed on HAN's behalf by Christoph Schoenborn, Post Graduate Marketing Student at Southampton SOlent University, seeks provide an insight into the business culture of Asian Community members. Furthermore, it will help understand and support the Asian community and identify areas for improvement.
