Chamber running a First Aid training course for businesses on 8th March 2012

COST:          Chamber Members £96 (inc VAT)
                    Non Chamber Members £120 (inc VAT)

Every employer must provide, as a minimum, an “Appointed Person” to take charge at the scene should an accident happen at work. Larger firms should consider training several staff. This course is suitable for anyone with no first aid experience or as a refresher course.

This course will train in both theoretical and practical aspects of First Aid, to the standard recommended by the Health & Safety Executive:

 Incident Management
 Resuscitation of Adult, Child and Baby
 Care of the unconscious person
 Wounds and bleeding
 Shock
 Burns and Shock
 The first aid box and recording of accidents

The Trainer:

Anne Denton of R & A Training is our trainer for our Emergency First Aid at Work courses. She is a qualified teacher and an experienced first aider with a wealth of knowledge.  Anne has been teaching first aid for over 20 years to a variety of different groups as well as on First Aid in the workplace courses.
