Local Government Resource Review: Proposals for Business Rates Retention Consultation - Summary of Responses

The Government through the Department for Communities and Local Government, have published a summary of 461 responses received on the Government's consultation of its proposals to introduce the local retention of business rates and powers for Tax Increment Finance.

Hampshire Chamber of Commerce were one of five Chambers to feedback to the Government, plus the British Chambers of Commerce, Partnership for Urban South Hampshire (PUSH), Hampshire County Council, East Hampshire Council, and Hants Police Fire & Rescue.

Pages 48 and 49 cover the analysis of approximately 100 general responses.
