10 May 2018
By popular demand we will be holding our May lunch at Minstead Lodge which is situated in the historic village of Minstead, in the heart of the New Forest. Named as a ‘new’ hunting ground by William the Conqueror one thousand years ago, the village can be found just 5 minutes from the western end of the M27.
The Lodge is a unique Conference venue that offers awe-inspiring beauty, peace, quiet and tranquility. There is also something special about the Lodge – it is home to the Minstead Trust, an independent registered charity supporting people with learning disabilities. The Conference Centre provides work training in hospitality. The Students will assist in preparing and serving lunch and will be available to talk to us about their work at the Trust whilst we network with other Chamber members. The aim of the Charity is that adults with learning disabilities are able to achieve greater independence to lead fulfilled lives and live as full citizens in our society, giving them the opportunity to achieve new skills and meet new challenges in all areas of their life.
Places are limited, book early to avoid disappointment.
